Why Five-Star Hospitality in Accra Specifies Aluminium Installers Ghana
A five-star hotel sells an arrival. The frameless glazed façade, the bespoke aluminium entrance canopy and the floor-to-ceiling guest-room glazing all carry the property’s promise the moment a guest steps from the car. Aluminium architecture on a hospitality building has to do two things at once: deliver a clean, premium architectural read, and perform — keep driving rain out, control solar heat and noise on air-conditioned suites, and survive the coastal exposure of an Osu or seafront elevation. Aluminium Installers Ghana has fabricated and installed structural glazing, curtain wall and bespoke aluminium architecture across Ghana since 1988, and our discipline on hospitality work is the same as everywhere: specify to a measured performance class, install to seal, hand over documented.
Hospitality is unforgiving on finish and on comfort. A guest notices a draught, a leak stain or condensation on a cold frame immediately. We specify the system — frameless glazing, thermal-break framing, acoustic and laminated glass — to the suite and the elevation, then install it to seal so the architectural promise holds in service.
What Hospitality Aluminium Work Demands
Frameless, premium architectural read
Four-sided structural silicone glazing and frameless façades give the clean, uninterrupted glass line that five-star design calls for. The aluminium does the structural and weather work behind a glass face that reads as architecture, not hardware.
Comfort — thermal and acoustic
Guest suites and conditioned public areas need thermal-break framing and performance glazing to control heat gain and condensation, and acoustic glazing to keep street and plant noise out. Comfort is specified, not assumed.
Weather-tightness on a coastal elevation
An Osu or seafront elevation faces salt-laden wind and driving rain. Air, water and wind performance are designed to a class, and the finish — anodised or powder-coated — is specified to survive coastal UV and salt without chalking.
Our Hospitality Aluminium Scope
- Structural Glazing — frameless and four-sided structural-silicone glazed façades for lobbies and feature elevations
- Curtain-Wall Installation — stick and unitised performance-glazed façades for the main elevation
- Aluminium Window & Door Systems — tilt-turn, acoustic and thermal-break framing for guest suites and public areas
- Louvres & Brise-Soleil — solar-shading, plant-screening and ventilation louvres
- Aluminium Windows Cost Guide — material vs specified-and-installed pricing
Standards & Performance
- EN 1090 — execution of aluminium structures (EN 1090-3 covers aluminium); the glazing and framing are executed to the relevant Execution Class so fabrication and fixing are to a real engineering standard
- ASTM E283 — air leakage (infiltration) through the glazed envelope
- ASTM E331 — water penetration under static air-pressure difference
- ASTM E330 — structural performance under positive and negative wind load
- AAMA 501 — curtain-wall and façade field test methods, including site water-spray testing where the project specifies it
- 10-year workmanship warranty — Aluminium Installers Ghana’s own decade-long commercial guarantee on the installation. This is a commercial guarantee on our workmanship, not an industry standard
Hospitality Aluminium Across Accra
We fabricate and install hospitality aluminium architecture — structural glazing, curtain wall, bespoke canopies and performance window suites — across Greater Accra — Osu, Airport City, Ridge, Cantonments and East Legon — plus Kumasi and Takoradi. Cost is quoted on survey: the elevation, the air/water/wind class, the glazing and acoustic specification, and the access decide the figure. Loose aluminium window units have been listed from around GH₵100 on the Ghana market as an indicative entry point, but a specified frameless hospitality façade is a different order of work — we quote what the building honestly needs.
