Why Corporate Headquarters in Accra Specify Aluminium Installers Ghana
A corporate headquarters at Ridge or Airport City is read by its envelope. The aluminium façade — whether a glazed curtain wall, an ACP rainscreen cassette system, or a thermal-break window suite — is the first and most permanent statement the company makes. It has to perform: keep wind and driving rain out, control solar heat gain on an air-conditioned building, and hold its finish through Accra’s dust and UV for the life of the building. Aluminium Installers Ghana has fabricated and installed aluminium façades, curtain wall and rainscreen across Ghana since 1988, and our discipline on corporate work is the same as on any other: specify to a measured performance class, install to seal, hand over documented.
The specification calculus on a headquarters is unforgiving. A façade fitted out of plumb, under-anchored or badly sealed will leak in the first hard storm, and on an air-conditioned building a non-thermal-break frame will run with condensation. We read the elevation first, then specify the system to suit it — not to the lowest price.
What Corporate Aluminium Work Demands
Air, water and wind performance
A multi-storey façade faces real wind load and driving rain. Air infiltration, water penetration under pressure and structural wind load are designed to a performance class, because a headquarters elevation leaks far more readily than a domestic opening, and the leak comes from the install around a good system, not the system itself.
Thermal control on an air-conditioned building
Corporate buildings run continuous cooling. Thermal-break framing and performance glazing cut the heat gain and the condensation that forms on a cold, un-broken aluminium frame — specified to the building’s cooling load, not added as an afterthought.
A finish that reads corporate
The façade is anodised or powder-coated to a specified RAL or anodised grade. ACP cassettes and framing are matched so the colour and texture stay consistent across the elevation and survive UV and dust without chalking.
Our Corporate Aluminium Scope
- Curtain-Wall Installation — stick and unitised performance-glazed façades for the main elevation
- Structural Glazing — bonded and captured glazed façades for feature and entrance elevations
- Aluminium Window & Door Systems — thermal-break framing, tilt-turn and entrance doors for offices and reception
- Louvres & Brise-Soleil — solar-shading and plant-screening on exposed and west-facing elevations
- Aluminium Windows Cost Guide — material vs specified-and-installed pricing
Standards & Performance
- EN 1090 — execution of aluminium structures (EN 1090-3 covers aluminium); the façade and framing are executed to the relevant Execution Class so fabrication and fixing are to a real engineering standard
- ASTM E283 — air leakage (infiltration) through the glazed envelope
- ASTM E331 — water penetration under static air-pressure difference
- ASTM E330 — structural performance under positive and negative wind load
- AAMA 501 — curtain-wall and façade field test methods, including site water-spray testing where the project specifies it
- 10-year workmanship warranty — Aluminium Installers Ghana’s own decade-long commercial guarantee on the installation. This is a commercial guarantee on our workmanship, not an industry standard
Corporate Aluminium Across Accra
We fabricate and install corporate aluminium façades, curtain wall and rainscreen across Greater Accra — Ridge, Airport City, the CBD, Cantonments, Osu and East Legon — plus Kumasi and Takoradi. Cost is quoted on survey: the elevation height, the air/water/wind performance class, the glazing and rainscreen specification, and the access decide the figure. Loose aluminium window units have been listed from around GH₵100 on the Ghana market as an indicative entry point, but a specified corporate façade is a different order of work — we quote what the elevation honestly needs.
