A balustrade is a guarding element: on a stair, a landing, a balcony or a roof terrace, it has to restrain a person and resist a horizontal load without flexing or failing. Glass-Infill Balustrades

Aluminium top rail and posts with toughened or laminated glass panels between them. The premium look — open views, clean lines — common on East Legon and Cantonments homes and on hospitality terraces. The glass is toughened or laminated for safety, and the channel or clamp fixing is detailed to hold it under load.

Vertical-Bar (Baluster) Balustrades

Aluminium top rail with vertical infill bars at a spacing close enough to guard safely. Robust, lower-maintenance, and the workhorse on stairs, walkways and commercial balconies.

Frameless & Standoff Systems

Glass set into a continuous base channel or fixed on stainless standoffs for a minimal, frameless look. The most demanding to detail, because the glass alone carries the guarding line — fixing and glass spec are critical.

Flat aluminium sheet cut to a pattern on CNC routing or laser cutting — geometric, botanical or custom motifs — for façade screening, privacy panels, gates and feature walls. Mashrabiya & Perforated Screens

The mashrabiya tradition — a perforated screen that filters light and air while giving privacy — translates directly to Ghana’s climate. An aluminium mashrabiya shades a window or a façade, lets the breeze through, and gives privacy without closing the building in. Pattern density is tuned to the balance of shade, airflow and view the elevation needs.

Privacy & Service Screens

Screens to enclose a balcony, hide a service yard, or screen a rooftop plant deck — function-led, finished to match the building.

Mounting & Fixing

Whatever the element, the fixing decides whether it holds:

• Balustrades — posts and base plates mechanically anchored to the slab, stair stringer or structure, set out to carry the horizontal guarding load.
• Screens — fixed to a sub-frame or directly to the structure, with the fixing sized for the wind load on the screen area.
• Movement — fixings detailed to allow thermal expansion of the aluminium without buckling or stressing the panels.

Finishes

• Anodised — durable electro-chemical finish in silver or champagne tones.
• Powder-coated — baked RAL-colour finish, the usual choice for matching a building’s palette; holds up in Ghana’s sun, humidity and coastal salt air.
• Mill — bare aluminium, rarely specified on visible work.
