Work for a diplomatic mission carries two briefs at once: the architectural one everyone sees, and the protective one nobody should. On this commission the screening geometry, the laminated glazing surrounds and the fixing specification were agreed with the mission’s technical office before fabrication began, and every panel was made in our own workshop so nothing left our control until installation day.
Installation ran under the mission’s access procedures, with our named site lead accountable for each stage of QC. As on all work of this kind, we do not publish the client’s identity or the security detail — the handover documentation belongs to the mission. Discretion is part of the specification.
