A campus facilities team asked for one thing above all: staff moving between blocks should stay dry in a June downpour, and the canopies should not rattle themselves loose in the first harmattan wind. We engineered the canopy modules for uplift and drainage, cut and finished the profiles in the workshop so site work was assembly rather than improvisation, and sequenced installation so every walkway stayed open during working hours.
Each module run was QC-checked for fixing torque and fall-to-drain before sign-off. The campus operator received the drawings, the load calculations and the written workmanship warranty in a single handover file.
